Climate Change and Smoke

It used to be that large fires could not be put out. Today because of over population we put fires out. In ancient past [perhaps up to the mid 1800's] we used to let giant fires just burn, natural process. It was this natural process that allowed enough smoke to keep the planet temperature down when needed. This process can no longer happen because humans think that large fires are terrible when the reality is they are part of God's natural process. The fact is large fires have helped keep the planet cool in the ancient past. Can we as Christians learn from this?
